STATUS OF COMPREHENSIVE PRESERVATION PLAN FOR TUDOR PLACE

On March 15, 2012, the Old Georgetown Board agreed that a preliminary concept design for the preservation of the 5½ acre historic site should move forward to full concept design of each building. Tudor Place is preparing for a capital campaign to address the critical preservation needs of Tudor Place and ensure the lasting care of its over 18,000 piece Collection & Archive. An initial concept design was presented in February and March 2013 to ANC-2E and the Old Georgetown Board and will continue to evolve as the project moves through the review process.
