Girl Scout Programs

Information/Fees

  • Girl Scout programs are available as virtual and in-person opportunities.
  • Choose between attending a public program or arranging a private reservation for your troop.
  • Registration is $10/per Girl Scout participant and $5 for adults
  • Reservations are required for all Girl Scout groups. To request a private program, apply online or email us. Specify virtual or in-person.
  • Programs include an interactive tour and a craft workshop.
  • Tudor Place patches are available upon request.

Be the Architect

BROWNIE | Virtual Program Length: 1 Hour | In-person Program Length: 1.5 Hours

What does it mean to be an Architect? An Inventor? Explore the history of Tudor Place’s architecture to learn what makes its design special.  This program fulfills all requirements to earn the Brownie Inventor Badge. REGISTER here for September 24 session.

The Roaring Twenties

BROWNIE, JUNIOR | Virtual Program Length: 1 Hour | In-person Program Length: 1.5 Hours

Travel back in time to learn about the women who lived and worked at Tudor Place in the 1920s. Learn the Charleston and have your own historic dance party. This program fulfills all requirements for the Brownie Dancer badge. Create a 1920s character, plan a living history party and earn the Juniors Playing the Past badge. Please specify the age of your troop when requesting a private program.   

Garden Explorer

DAISY| Virtual Program Length: 1 Hour | In-person Program Length: 1.5 Hours

How do we use resources wisely? Explore Tudor Place’s garden to learn how to recycle and reuse material to keep the garden healthy. This program fulfills all requirements to earn the Clover Petal and the Daisy EcoLearner badge.

Garden Designer

JUNIOR | Virtual Program Length: 1 Hour | In-person Program Length: 1.5 Hours

What makes a garden special? Explore the art of garden design and create your  own dream garden. This program fulfills all requirements for the Juniors Flowers badge and the Juniors Gardener badge. REGISTER here for June 18 session.

Outdoor Adventurer

BROWNIE | Virtual Program Length: 1 Hour | In-person Program Length: 1.5 Hours

Identify bugs, birds and other wildlife at Tudor Place while on an outdoor adventure. Practice knot-tying skills and plant seeds to take home. This program fulfills all requirements to earn the Brownie Bugs Badge and the Brownie Outdoor Adventurer badge.

Tudor Trees 

CADETTE | Virtual Program Length: 1 Hour | In-person Program Length: 1.5 Hours

Explore the connection between people and trees. Discover what we can learn about the past through dendrochronology, learn how to identify different tree species and design your own tree house. This program fulfills all requirements to earn the Cadette Trees badge.
