Join us after hours for a CIVIC SEASON event! Explore the garden, pack a picnic and experience living history through the historic house (guided tours are first come, first serve). Write, draw and doodle on talk back boards and share your thoughts on the past and present. Also crafts, mocktails and collection objects from the 1920s will be on display. Civic Season (June 19 – July 4), is designed to empower young people to reflect on the past and take action to shape the future. It’s celebrated across the country through dynamic events and programs hosted by more than 700 nonpartisan museums, libraries and historic sites, all committed to helping people connect with U.S. history and civics in relevant, engaging ways.
