Tudor Place is open Tuesday – Saturday 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Sunday Noon – 4 p.m.

Weaponry & Firearms

The weaponry and firearms collection contains examples of firearms and edged weapons. Unique examples of ceremonial weaponry include a carved ivory dagger made in Japan and swords used by family members during their military service in the Mexican-American War and the American Civil War.

Significant examples of firearms include a pair of late-18th-century flintlock dueling pistols, a Colt Army revolver picked up after the Battle of Bull Run, a custom 1919 Parker Brothers double-barrel, 12 gauge shotgun, and numerous 19th and 20th-century rifles and pistols.
