Celebrate the 224th anniversary of the completion of the White House by joining Artist-in-Residence Peter Waddell for a look behind the canvas with Dr. Matthew Costello, Chief Education Officer of the White House Historical Association and Director of the David M. Rubenstein National Center for White House History. See Peter’s painting, “A Vision Takes Form,” as he highlights the artistic techniques of his latest work. Dr. Costello will share more of the historical context of construction, including untold stories of enslaved individuals who worked at Tudor Place.
