Tudor Place is open Tuesday – Saturday 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. and Sunday Noon – 4 p.m.

We stumbled upon Tudor Place while walking around Georgetown and are so glad that we did. We walked through the gardens while we waited for our tour of the house to begin…Inside the house, we were lucky to have a private tour by the docent, Christine. Not only was she knowledgeable about the history of the house and the families that lived there, but she had vast information about the furnishings and art.

My wife and I were in DC for a week and were stretched trying to see so many great attractions and historical venues. This place made our short list and we were no disappointed. You owe it to yourselves to include this stop in your whirlwind time in our Nation’s capital. The history is almost overwhelming and staff is great.

I’ll say it – in my opinion, Tudor Place Historic House & Gardens is one of the most beautiful places in Washington, DC.
