Your gift supports preservation of the witness trees, historic boxwood, heirloom shrubs, flowers and the 5 1/2 acre estate; conservation of thousands of objects and ephemera in the collection and archive; and dynamic educational programming. Bequests

Bequests are gifts made through a will and an important way to contribute to the long-term sustainability of Tudor Place. A bequest can be a specific dollar amount, a percentage of your estate or the remainder of your estate. These gifts have no immediate impact on your current lifestyle.

Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD)

For our members and friends who are 70½ or older, a contribution to Tudor Place directly from your Traditional or Roth Individual Retirement Account (IRA) allows you to support our important mission while enjoying tax benefits. Charitable distributions from an IRA qualify toward your Required Minimum Distribution (RMD). To make a charitable contribution from your IRA, contact your IRA trustee and request that the distribution be made directly to Tudor Place Foundation, Inc.

Planned Giving

Lead future generations and preserve America’s story by including Tudor Place in your estate plans.  Designate Tudor Place as your charitable organization of choice in a trust, you also create regular income for you and your beneficiaries. Consult your financial advisor for current guidelines on federal estate tax deductions and capital gains taxes on gifts of appreciated value.

Securities Transfers

Tudor Place accepts charitable gifts of stocks and mutual funds.

Tudor Place Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization according to the IRS, organized under the laws of the District of Columbia.
