Tudor Nights: Commemorating American Independence

May 4, 2023 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

With Martha Custis Peter’s status as Martha Washington’s granddaughter, commemorating the Revolutionary War was especially important at Tudor Place. See artifacts from the collection that document how the Peter family maintained their connection to this legacy. Discover how these objects reflect the commemorative culture of the Revolution embraced by Americans. Tudor Nights is an opportunity to see rarely displayed objects and ephemera from the Tudor Place Collection & Archive.  Afterwards, join us for cocktails and lite hors d’oeuvres in the Dower House.

Members: FREE | Students (21+ with valid school ID): $10 | Non-members: $25
