Calling all teachers with a passion for Civil War history. Tudor Place is joining forces with Ford’s Theatre, Frederick Douglass National Historic Site, and Lincoln Cottage to provide teachers with the resources they need to teach students about the Civil War. In this week-long program, fellows will have the chance to expand their perspectives on the Civil War, gain confidence discussing complex historic topics and network with other educators and museum employees. Cost: Free. Participants must pay a $100 refundable deposit to secure their place in the institute. Deposits are refunded upon successful completion of the program.
